Breath and the river wind.
The Prana Deck is an octagonal bamboo platform reaching toward the river, under a woven cane roof, open to the sky and the water on every side.
Begin the day here with guided pranayama and gentle yoga as the river breeze moves through, or simply sit, breathe and watch the Ganga.
- Daily sunrise pranayama and gentle yoga, open to every level
- An optional sunset meditation
- Mats provided, in small groups, with private sessions on request

Yoga: to join, to unite.
The word yoga comes from the Sanskrit yuj, to join. It is less about the shape of a posture than about bringing body, breath and mind into one rhythm, and that rhythm into tune with the world around you. At the Prana Deck, practice is unhurried and guided by experienced teachers.
Surya Namaskar
Salutations to the rising sun over the river: a flowing sequence to wake the whole body.
Hatha asana
Classical postures held with steadiness and ease, building strength, balance and flexibility.
Pranayama
The science of breath: Nadi Shodhana, alternate-nostril breathing, and gentle breath awareness.
Bhramari & chanting
The humming “bee breath” and the sound of Om, letting vibration settle the mind.
Dhyana & Yoga Nidra
Seated meditation at sunset, and guided yogic rest that leaves you deeply refreshed.
Begin where you are.
No experience is needed. Sessions are kept small, so each teacher can adjust the practice to your body, your age and your pace.
On the deck, all five elements meet: earth beneath you, water below, the river wind, the morning sun and an open sky. Yoga simply asks you to notice them.
Keep exploring.
